You might think desolation is mistress, in this inhospitable domain of the "agricultural industry", but this landscape actually has very ancient origin: the immense Roman latifundia, born in the lower Empire and continued in the immense noble historical rural estates. The "crete viterbesi" host a variety of living communities adapted to the open environment and embrace the remains of the Etruscan civilization that has dominated here for almost 5 centuries.

• The site of the ancient Tarquinia with the Ara della Regina Sanctuary, the largest known Etruscan sanctuary
• We will visit, if possible, some tombs of the Etruscan necropolis of Monterozzi (UNESCO heritage)
